doubt with motherboard asus 5 rog 1155

heya

my doubt is, a few months ago, january exactly iw as cleaning my rig with a gtx 580 lighting, and i foirgot tu plug the pci to the gpu

the pc sont turn on and i realized for 15sec

then i shut down the pc i plug the cord

and everything was just fine

then in february my gpou died dont know why mayeb for the use i gave it

bought it second hand in 013

then i buy a 660ti evga for the emergency is my current card now with not problems in games for the moment.

then the same situation happened

i had no problems with my rig, no shutdowns, no high temps.

my doubt is should this problem that i had would have any problems in the future?

for not plugin the pci to the gpu?
