News Dough is Rising With a 27-inch Glossy 240 Hz OLED Gaming Monitor

To anyone reading this please research Dough Tech (formally Eve Devices) before you purchase...

I (and hundreds maybe thousands more) have had absolutely horrible experience with this company. I made the mistake of not doing my due diligence and got into a situation with Dough on terms of getting my refund back. Long story short, I placed a pre-order for the original 1440p Spectrum monitor in 2019 (going into 2020). After 2yrs and some change, I asked for a refund for they were "stalling" or kept delaying the 1440p monitor shipping. They have "delayed" the monitor about 3 or 4 times before I asked for the refund on April 8th, 2022. At the time of writing this, I still have yet to receive my refund. At this point, any inquiries referring to my cancelled order are being ignored and even a chargeback has been issued via my card issuer. Dough Tech/Eve Devices continue to advertise their monitors and mostly sending out their 4K monitors to reviewers, tech sites, and social media influencers. Im sure some have received them (with questionable quality in both build and functionality) but the majority are left with money being taken and no product to be delivered. Below I've included as many links as I can relating to Dough Tech/Eve Devices being incompetent in fulfilling orders, issuing refunds, and even flat out ignoring inquiries. One of the links is Dough's own discussion forums which has many users frustrated about this same situation. If you are even more curious, look at the user comments on the posts made by their insta (@dough.technology) and twitter (@DOUGHtechnology). There are many users facing this issue and it should be voiced out despite all of their questionable reviews given by other Tech News sites.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM EVE/DOUGH. THEY SCAMMED ME AND THEY WILL SCAM YOU. I bought the Eve Spectrum 4k because they advertise on their website "In Stock" and say it ships within 2 weeks. However, I paid $1,000 and waited 3 months with no updates. I then requested to cancel my order for a refund. They then kept telling me it would take 20 business days. 20 business days later... they would say the same thing over and over. I ended up filing a chargeback at my bank.

Eve changed their name to Dough because they are being investigated for fraud/excessive credit card chargebacks. They are being added to the MATCH list which is a list of merchants who can no longer take Visa/Mastercard. I know this because I work at the corporate office for the largest credit car processor in the world.

They take your money and never ship anything. It is a scam. The only reason they are not shutdown is because they are based out of Hong Kong which makes it difficult to prosecute. It is absolutely terrible that people keep advertising these products. The only reason they shipped an initial batch of monitors to reviewers/the very first round of customers is to attract more buys to scam. They have not shipped anything to anyone since the first batch. Don't believe me?

Google it. You will also find their first product which was a windows tablet a few years ago where they charged lots of people $1,000 only to take their money and declare bankruptcy and refund no one.

Tom's Hardware PLEASE STOP PROMOTING THIS COMPANY. I got scammed by them and many many others are too. In fact, within a year or 2 this Dough will be shutdown due to fraud and all of these reviewers/tech websites are going to have to apologize for advertising their products.
