Hi Toms hardware...
As my title says i need help in downclocking my CPU and i haven't done overclocking before , my real problem is that i am seeing rise of temp in my CPU which is making me worried.
Its idle temp is 48 to 50 degree Celsius usually its around 40 for me , also i have no idea how it overclocked itself automatically i have just formatted my os 2 days ago
My motherboard is Maximus vi Hero and CPU is Intel core i7 4770k 4th gen using it with cooler master liquid cooling single fan
some info i got from my mobo is here - CPU target speed 3500mhz, CPU cache target speed 3900mhz

Solution
My bad i used wrong term overclocking may be its boosting normally but trouble is its running hot which usually it isnt , my room temp is around 34'c
Well your room temperature is quite high. So for every degree your ambient temperature is above testing designs, you'll be a degree hotter.
If you're worried it is overclocking - simply remove any (if any) overclocking software and reset BIOS to default.

I'd sooner look at case airflow and how you can improve cooling in your system.
You can always disable turbo boost from the BIOS, but having to disable this due to temperatures to me usually indicates a problem with temperatures in the first place, not the turbo.

What makes you believe your CPU is overclocking? It is probably just boosting normally.
Idle temp of 48 to 50 degrees is high - what is your ambient temperature?

Thanks for clearing my doubts well i dont use any overclocking software airflow is also not a trouble here since my case is open and just now i did reset my bios and disabled turbo mode but temp is same

Finally i solved my problem my trouble was windows was using high power plan settings which didn't let my CPU cores to cool down on idle state never thought this could cause thato_O
