Downclocked Dual Channel or Single Channel?

Hello, I have a 2133 MHZ mobo (H100M-S2-CF), I am having small problems with stuttering in Arma 3. People said that I can reduce the stuttering and probably increase my FPS by getting Dual Channel Ram. My question is would there be any difference If I buy Dual Channel 2666MHZ RAM (which will be lowered to 2133 MHZ because of my MOBO) or if I stick with my Single Channel 2133 RAM? (I am not worried about losing couple of bucks for RAM which will be lowered)

Oh, I was looking at another website and it said it only supports 2133 MHZ but I guess it was wrong,

CPU
- Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700 CPU @ 3.40GHz

GPU
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB

Operating system
- Microsoft Windows 10 Pro 64-bit

Motherboard
- Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. H110M-S2-CF (U3E1)

6th Gen CPU will use 2133MHz memory.
7th Gen CPU will use 2400MHz memory.

Testing has showed their is not much difference when using single or dual channel memory.

What your proposing, using 2666Mhz memory, which wouldn't run higher than 2133MHz with 6th Gen CPU on a H110 chipset motherboard, is up to you. It's your money.

Because of the fact that it's going to be Dual Channel, I am just asking if there'd be any significant performance upgrade
