Downgrade from Win 10, WIndows not genuine

I upgraded and downgraded to/from Windows 10 in the week. My Win 7 passed all the security checks and all went slow but well. I did not like 10 and downgraded but my Win 7 is no longer registered as genuine. I found my key and tried to activate but it was refused. Now I can't even update to Win 10 again. Can anyone offer any advice? Thank you.

If you have a genuine key and its not working you need to contact Microsoft.

Was your Win 7 license legitimate and activated before the upgrade to 10?
By what process did you go back to Win 7?

Your only real recourse is to go through Microsoft. Nothing much we can do for you here.
