Mobo - z87 g45
Gpu - gtx 670 Power Ed
SSD - Evo 840

Ram - 4x2 Ripjaws
Psu - Seasonic g650
Case - Corsair 540 Air
ASUS internal wifi adapter

Wana transfer to itx build for portability and space constrain.

CPU - i5 4670k
Cooler - h80i
Mobo - MSI Z97I Gaming AC
Gpu - gtx 670 Power Ed
SSD - Evo 840
HDD - Wd Blue
Ram - 4x2 Ripjaws
Psu - Seasonic g650 Should I change it to lower watt psu?
Case - Bitfenix Prodigy
ASUS internal wifi adapter

Gonna do some overclocking when needed.

My main question is which motherboard to pick?
Most mobo comes internal wifi built-in. Should I pick the one without onboard wifi? Or get one of those and sell off my internal adapter?
Case, any other suggestion? Also eyeing on 250D.

Please advice

If you want onboard wifi, get the z97i AC edition. And the case is just up to you

I would recommend a PCIE wifi card, if there is no space go for a motherboard with onboard wifi or just get a USB wifi card. For the motherboard, you could go for a MSI z87i gaming, ASRock Z87E-ITX or a ASUS ROG Maximus Impact

I built a rig in a bitfenix prodigy once. Fitting a Corsair H50 water cooler in the top vents in it meant I could not also fit the optical drive in the front.

YOu may have to be very careful. ITX boards have only 2 PCI slots, so you may have to look to make sure your internal WiFi adapter can connect. Unless the antenna is external to the case, the steel frame will impact your WiFi reception to some extent.

Why you would want to lower the power on the PSU is anyone's guess - it is NOT a good thing to do.

Sorry for forgetting theres types of internal wifi.

Mine is something like this, just unsure which model, but its N-series

I'm lowering the psu, thinking it'll consume less power? lol... i'm not really good at these.

theres no need to decrease the psu, don't spend money on another psu. Spend it on your motherboard. lol

That card needs a PCI slot - which you will not have in the mini-ITX board.

Your power demand does not change because you change the case. If your power supply is over the minimum specification, it will only use the power you actually draw from it and may run cooler and more efficient.

msi z97i the way to go?

maximus impact is ok. but it cost more and probably won't use the extra features tho.

if you won't use the features, the msi z97i would be perfect for you

Ok. ( Just to double check ) The mobo comes with onboard wifi already right?
N for the casing part? Prodigy ftw?
