The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Everyone keeps talking about the downgrade. But lets face it gtx980 can only run it on 60fps without nvidia hairworks. Our hardware was not ready.

Now: Here's proof that it still looks better than any other rpg out there.

There's no reason to wait. With the first 2 games they automatically upgraded everyone to the enhanced edition for free when it came out. Like the OP said, it's already one of the best looking games available and regardless of graphics, it's a great RPG.

Wise words. If you're looking to buy it at some point you might as well do it now because any upgrades will most likely be for free. Also, if you wait a year with buying the enhanced edition(if it comes out) the rest of the world's graphics will have upped along with it so it won't seem any more special than it does now😛

All of the Witcher games raised the bar when it came to graphics. Remember when Witcher 2 came out? That game was by far the most insane game to run fully maxed out. CD Projekt RED invested a lot of money into creating a custom engine for the Witcher 2. I have a lot of respect for those developers and all of the Witcher games are amazing.

well i'm in no rush. just pull the trigger on witcher and witcher 2 on GoG few days ago. this game was heavy on story so i thought that i will play from the first game. also i'm busy with other games right now. by the time i got to play witcher 3 probably mainstream hardware already good enough to run the game on ultra including hairworks 😛
