Hello,

Last year my PC was really slow, i decided to reinstall everything. But when i came back, Windows Pro was installed, even though i didn't have a Windows 10 Pro key. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Solution
don't know how you got win 10 pro since you bought win 10 home.

but if it is from a shady source or outright pirated, then a fresh install may be a good idea anyway. will get rid of whatever nastiness may be part of the installation. just a thought anyway. it's possible something like this is blocking the media creator from doing its job properly.
when using the media creation tool are you selecting "upgrade this pc now" or "create installation media for another pc"?

you should be selecting the 2nd option to get the list of choices so you can select the home iso file. selecting the upgrade this pc option only let's you stick with what is already there.

it should download the file for you and not install it anywhere since it thinks you want to use it somewhere else. then once it is finished downloading, you open the iso file. win 10 will do it automatically so no other software is needed. then simply run the setup.exe file from the iso and it will then install home version over your pro version.

The only option i have in the 2nd option is Windows 10, i'm going to try this now.

And i bought the code from an electronics store.
