this may sound stupid, but i'm having trouble installing windows 7 64x downgrading my Windows 8 86x pro.

I keep getting hang boot on windows 7 when installing. It's all black screen with "starting windows"
my iso file is in drive: E and I'm installing it in Drive: C is that what's causing the problem?
because I tried installing in bootable flash drive, and it still failed.

everytime it restarts it gives me 3 operating system choices
it's either
Windows 7
Windows Setup
Windows 8

and then I have to reset my whole windows 8 again to get it running to normal.
Any fix for this?

Does it work if you select the right choice?
You can edit that list using 'bcdedit' command line tool from an administrative command prompt.
WARNING: Use this at your own risk! Be ready with genuine installation media if this goes terribly wrong :)

ok first, create a backup of the current configuration:
bcdedit /export c:\backupfile

now list all boot entries, look at the 'description' attributes to identify the items to remove:
bcdedit /v

next, copy the 'identifier' UUID of the boot choice you want to remove, then run this command to remove it:
bcdedit /delete {UUID} /f

if something goes wrong, you can start your computer in 'Repair Your Computer' mode from the F8 list, then open a command prompt and restore the backup you took:
bcdedit /import c:\backfupfile
