Download free blu ray player for windows 7

Hello,
Can I download a blu-ray player to my p.c. or does it have to be built in?

You must have a drive that is capable of playing blu-ray's.
Also,
You must have software that can play those blu-ray's.

But if you buy the drive, they typically come with software that will allow you to play blu-ray disks.

you need to have a blu ray drive in your pc if not you need to buy one

you can download codec packs that will allow you to play blu-rays in things like windows media player

i beleive shark 007 codecs can play blu-ray files but im not sure

Yess, no player.

In clear: I won't buy any blu-ray and any SONY equipment. Forcing a costly support and fees making a simple player not comming with the reader drive. SO Not You == SONY.

By the way, ASUS 12x Blu-ray Writer BW-12B1ST is one of the numerous drives without a reader. (And will be returned for refound.) (Unfortunatly neader SONY or ASUS will pay me the time I lost with this crap.)
