Download Limit

does n e body know how to pass the download limit of internet explorer 5.5??? It only allows you to download 4 files at once only...i got it to download as many as i wanted before until i had to format my computer. There is a site that configures the winreg but i can seem to remember that sites name...does n e body know that site??

I wish I could help on the site location, but ...

However, I suggest that you get a decent download manager. It will give you more options when downloading, and will likely be much faster than using I.E. for the downloads. After trying two or three of these programs, I prefer Download Accelerator. You can pick it up from Download.com ... and it's free. I think it's the fastest (and easiest) download manager to use. The options can be adjusted so that it is very unobtrusive, doesn't use any system resources ... and can be cut off with one click, or the use of the Alt key.

Give it a try, and see for yourself why it is superior.

Oh ... and it will download as many files at one time as you wish. I'm on cable, and I've downloaded multiple .mpeg's with no problem ... as many as seven at once!

That doesn't suck.
