i want to download ms dos edit com in 64 bit windowws

Um its already there, windows key + R then type in CMD or you can right click on the windows start icon select properties, start menu tab, customize and add run to the start menu. Five minutes tops. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/559-start-menu-add-run-button.html

The dos version of edit.com is a 16 bit program and will not run under a 64 bit OS. Just use notepad or something instead of edit.

Nope just get dosbox it wont allow you to save but its A ms dos i think i have it i have fun!!!

dude just get dosbox for X64 and X32 Cool right look at an image of my little thingy,ma,bob sorry the image i could not use go to http:// and download it FREE!!!

On a 64bit machine I would use Notepad++. It is the only program which could convince me to leave vi. Hope this is not against the rules of the forum...
