[SOLVED] Download speed on new SSD about 4x slower than on HDD

I have Windows 10 on both an SSD and HDD. The the download speed is fine on the HDD, but it's about 4x slower on the SSD. I've installed the latest Killer drivers (Ethernet).

"Download speed", from where?

Either an HDD or SSD is much much much faster than your internet speed.

Also, why two Windows installs?

I just mean from the internet.

I've been having problems with the HDD, and wanted an SSD. I dont actually use the HDD now that I have the SDD though.

Assuming the SSD otherwise works OK, there is no connection between HDD vs SSD and download speed.

There's nothing wrong with the SSD, I used Samsung Magician. Ok. I just don't understand why it's so much slower...

What site, what speeds do you see, etc, etc...
As much detail as you can.

And as mentioned above, often the Killer network drivers can cause issues.

I have fixed it now! I installed Killer Control Centre and the speeds are normal now. It must have been the drivers as you suggested. Thank you for spending the time to help.
