download speed so slow

I built my pc yesterday and I noticed my download speed is really slow. I know it's not my wifi because I tested it on another device and worked perfectly. My upload speed is fine but my download speed is around 5 mbps. I'm using an asus usb-ac56 as my wireless adapter.

you can always the signal weakness in windows 10 or 7 , if too weak oyu can get closer , use areapeeater or powercords

Anything else hammering your wifi and/or internet bandwidth (e.g. DLing something or watching Netflix etc)?
