I'm trying to find the sound drivers for a dell 1520 that has
Vista OS installed on it.

I searched on the Dell website. Found:

http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/Product/inspiron-1520 - chose Vista 32-bit, and waited for it to update the number of files with Vista software and drivers
