Question Downloaded files all converting to winrar

I accidentally hit open all files with WinRAR, so now every file or mod I download is appearing as WinRAR however Error appears "the archive is either unknown format or damaged. Not sure what to do now. I have also tried downloading through a different browser than chrome but still having the same issue.

To reset File Associations in Windows 10, do the following.

1. Open Settings.
2. Navigate to Apps - Default Apps.
3. Go to the bottom of the page and click the Reset button

I followed instructions, now all downloaded files are internet explorer.. however mods are working fine it seems though.
