So I downloaded a crypto miner called Awsomeminer, in the process of that bitdefender found a trojan/other stuff when i was trying to use it the first time. I downloaded it from a websites link that was literally linking /had big articles pros and cons for the top crypto miners too.
Immediately uninstalled it, found the data folder for it, deleted it, found the hidden data for it, deleted it, restarted pc, a weird black screen came up and said my system was being disinfected, ran full system scan from bitdefender after it was rebooted, found nothing.
downloaded a beta rootkit killer from malwarebytes, it found nothing, then i downloaded windows scanner and it found Trojan:XML/Phish.J!eml in AppData\Local\Packages\microsoft.windowscommunicationsapps_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\Files\S0\123\Attachments\Amazon-Service-Center[520].docx
the only issue is that was unrelated to the miner, and was a old file, which was just a document with a link in it?
At this point I'm thinking about doing a full repartition and reinstall of windows along with mass password resets, am I overreacting?
Even with the 4 different scanners I still dont trust that the pc is clean
