Downloaded Windows 8.1 now Can't access Homegroup

Downloaded Windows 8.1 this morning. Now I can't access my Network Homegroup. All worked fine on Windows 8.

Were you using a local account before?

Not sure what you mean by "local account". I have my homegroup setup on my old Dell laptop Windows 7 computer. Was able to setup my new laptop when running windows 8.

Open Windows Explorer, or type "network" into search and open that.

Does your HOMEGROUP appear in Windows Explorer just above "this PC"?
