So, I have terrible internet and my friend who lives just down the road a bit gets about 3 mbps compared to my 180 kbps and we hang out a bit. If I were to go to his house and bring a flash drive (such as this http://www.amazon.ca/Patriot-Supersonic-Magnum-Series-PEF256GSMNUSB/dp/B00B964QFO/ref=pd_sim_sbs_147_8?ie=UTF8&dpID=41GzwB72swL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160%2C160_&refRID=0YV5BTTQTPT4E1FS2HW4) could I just transfer the files to my Hard Drive on my PC then instead of actually downloading them at my house? Here is some info that may be of use to whoever answers this...
1. I have Windows 10 64 bit but his computer has 8 or 8.1 64 bit. Will this create a problem in any way? If it will, could we just upgrade his laptop to Windows 10?
2. I have games from Steam, Uplay and Origin. Should I create different folders on the flash drive for each service? Also, will each one be able to just transfer the games?
Thanks in advance for any help I receive!

as mentioned, steam should work fine, they even have a backup feature for that.
for origin, i think you can. have a copy ready, but in your pc, let the download start, let it download a few megabytes maybe. then try to copy the files that you have into the proper directory (not sure if you need to pause the download, probably), then it should recognize the files and get you to an almost 100% completion. at least that is what i remember for bf4
If you both own the game you can just copy his files. Then copy them to your steam folder and launch and it will install.

Otherwise you'd have to log into your account and download them. Sure you didn't tyoe that wrong though? If it's 180kBps or 1.5mbps it's really not worth the effort

Steam should work ok. Just sign into steam and download your game onto his computer. When it's done copy the folder onto the USB drive. Take it home and sign into steam on your computer. Tell your computer to install the same game. When it starts to download it close steam out. Browse to where it created the folder and replace it with the one from your USB drive. Once it's copied over you should then be able to run steam again and it "should" be ok. I've either had this work 100%, or it needs to grab a few files here and there that weren't in the folder you grabbed.

I'm not familiar enough with how Uplay and Origin work so I don't how this will turn out. I've done this with steam a number of times so you should be good.
