Downloading houses...?

Hi all,

I've been browsing loads of sites and have found some lovely houses I want
to download but being the sily fool that i am, I just don't know where to
out them....!

Could someone help me out?

Houses come in either .rar or .zip format. Once you've unzipped it (or
unrarred it -- what is the term for that?) you just click on the lot package
and it will automatically install it in your game. You will find it in your
Lot Bin, no matter which neighborhood you open. If you want more than one
copy of the house, just click the package to install it as many times as you
wish. Then you can have one in every neighborhood.

Well thanks for replying but i think i did something wrong.

I always save things onto the desktop and then extract it into the right
place once its downloaded.

when i right click on the house file and click extrat all it asks me where
i want to extract it to, and i don't knoiw where to put it.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh - i really love the house i just downloaded.

Any help would be appreciated so much.

Are you talking about Sims1 or Sims2? If it's Sims2, don't right click on
the package file. Doubleclick (left mouse button) and it will extract
automatically into the game.

It's Sims2.

I'm sorry, I'm not really good with downloading stuff without getting
panicky that i'll break the game or my computer, but i left clicked it and
it popped up a little bos which asked something like "do you want to install
this" and then it installed.

And i checked in the game and there it was..!
