Downloading old movies

There is an old movie which is easily available on youTube but I am unable to download it. Can you tell me how to download it even if it requires payment? Are there other sites which will have a very large collection of movies available for download? Torrentz does not have many old movies

Typing download youtube on chrome will give you plenty of websites that give you a downloadable link for any video.
Anything more than that crosses over into piracy and there are rules against that in this forum.

When you attempt the download the movie what error messages do you get? Or what other problems are you encountering?

What movie are you looking to download?

I just googled the words "websites download old movies" - it seems that there are quite a number "old movie sites".

And you can revise the search criteria to be more specific regarding the sort of movies you like. Or just directly google the movie type or title.

You should have no problems downloading free or even paid for old movies from legitimate websites.

Stream it yes, download it no, not legitimately anyway.
Even youtube (amazon and anybody really) has a lot of movies for rent or even sale but you are restricted to streaming, downloading it would be considered duplication and would go against copyright.
Strictly speaking even downloading a video that is free on youtube goes against copyright.

You could go for sites that have movies that have no copyright anymore.
