Well have been sneaking around on this group for sometime. Am now very
jealous that you all seem to have the T3! So downloading as we speak, or at
least in a very long queue. Sadly I don't think my computer specs will
support this game. May have to get console version. Does anybody know if
T3 is being released for PS2? I can't afford new computer, have a laptop
which can't be upgraded so sadly if not due out on PS2 will have to consider
X-box!!! Simply can't miss out on this longed for game.

Mary,

Right now it is exclusive to the Xbox. Sometime down the road however I
would think it would be released to PS2 like GTA3 and Vice City was released
to the Xbox from PS2. All the articles that I have read on the Xbox version
though hadn't indicated that it would be released anytime soon for any other
console.

While I am a computer gamer by nature, I am in the same boat as you with my
computer being outdated. Luckily, I do have an Xbox though, and decided to
rent the Xbox version to see if it would be worth the money. I can tell you
that it an entertaining game for the Xbox and I will be buying it for the
console until I can buy a new computer.

I hope this has given you some greater insight on a potential purchase of
your Xbox.

Thanks for the info. The demon wouldn't download in any event. Kept timing
out. Tried twice during the night, so very frustrated. Will consider my
position on X box.

Do you use the WinMX filesharing program? FWIW, I have the Thief demo
shared on my machine for now, and will leave it up the rest of the
weekend for anyone interested.

Note that I have only a DSL connection, limited to around 100 Kb/s
upload. That works out to something like 12.5 kilobytes/second download
for you. Only about twice as fast as a modem, so will take ~10 hours,
but it's better than nothing, I guess.

Thank you for that but I succumbed and purchased X-box!!! got a very good
deal with a couple of games thrown in - one of which I won't want but can
trade in for Thief which I am assured will be out next Friday for the box.
Am trying Splintercell Pandora tomorrow, getting in some practice sneaking
around, as opposed to platformers I've been playing with lots of jumping
around and hitting things. Am quite enjoying the game actually.

I don't have that file sharing thing anyway.
