Downloading the game again

My friend have tested a game that I have bought by logging in on my account on his computer and then trying it out to see if the computer can handle it. Turns oout it can and he wants to buy it. But the question is: Does have to download the game again on his account or can he just Buy it and see it in his library and then play it? Thanks
