Hi

I have a SSD as the bot drive, aswell as drivers and other important stuff like that. beside the ssd i have a harddrive that i use for normal downloads. all my downloads goes to the hdd, but when i install them they install on the SSD. I can change this manually every time i want to download something, but somethimes i forget. How can i set so all my downloads and installs go to the hdd ?

Thank you

Downloads or SAVE TO locations are editable inside the programs OPTIONS/PREFERENCES. So for IE for example you can change the location, which would NOT change WORD's save location for example. NO THERE IS NO SINGLE UNIVERSAL change this does for anything 'key' or such, there is a myriad of complex Reg Hacks that manufacturers can input during production (prebuilding the image) that would force 'program' installations to default to the D drive path, but that requires alot of work and testing.

As yours sounds like you 'added' the SSD yourself, your stuck like EVERYONE ELSE (me too!) to make sure to install MANUALLY to the D drive any installs, updates, etc. There is no way around it.
