Question Downloads are using 100% of my network which is around 65mbps and only downloading at 10 mbs

Be careful MB means megabyte you need to multiply by 8.

If you have 200mbps internet you need to do some testing. I would run speedtest and see what you get. It would be strange that the task manager says 100%. You might have a port only runnning at 100mbps rather than gigabit. This could be a limitation on your router or you may have a defective cable.

If you are using WIFI your link rate to your WIFI source could be 60Mbit and that tab would show 100% utilization.
You can see the link rate in the properties display in the network and internet settings display.

thanks for the reply wat would u recommend to test the router? im guessing wire straight to the modem?

Your pc should tell you the speed the port is running at. I forget exactly how you get to it but there is a screen called internet status on your pc that show the connection speed.

Check the router specs before you do a lot, it needs to have gigabit lan and wan ports.

I would run speedtest as you currently have it . If you have something running at 100mbps you will see numbers of about 95mbps on speedtest.

Biggest problem 90% of the time is people think they bought a ac3300 router are getting 3300mbit. The truth is you are getting far far less. This is even more true the further away you get from base station. Link rates go down the further you get.

Wifi analyzer by vrem software will tell you what your signal strength is like in the area of your computer. Then you need a quality intel ac nic to get the best speed. An intel 3x3 ngf card nic in a pcie adapter will maximize your throughput. On mine i have 1.6gbps. But I have a netgear router that supports that.

Also a 200 mbit/sec internet connection might get you a little over 20Megabytes/second under ideal conditions.
