Greetings, I'm looking into purchasing a GIGABYTE G34WQC.
To my understanding most games will not run very well at decent settings on my 570 8gb at 3440p X 1440p.

Personally, I play a decent amount of Indie titles and older titles with a sprinkling of newer AAA here and there.
So how huge of a sacrifice is downscaling to 2560 x 1080? Within the next year or so when the market calms down I will be upgrading to a 3060 or something better hopefully.

My current build is below.
Cpu:1231 V3 GPU:570 8gb Ram: 16gb 1600Mhz Storage: Two HDD and a SSD.

If you've been gaming at 1080p then 1440p is a step up, no problems.
Only consideration would be - am i going to go to 4k 2160p eventually? if so you may want to save for a better monitor.
Currently I'm on a dinosaur of a samsung syncmaster. So, I've been on 1080p gaming for 10 years haha the monitor looks like it's been through a world war. it's been through so many moves and storage places. Currently it has an ant in stuck inside of the screen I have no idea how or why lmao.
