Question Downside of Increasing Render Resolution for Modern Warfare 2

I have a XL2546k Benq 1080p 240hz monitor and a 4070ti GPU. It is difficult to spot enemies at a distance and I'm wondering if I should just bump up the in-game Render Resolution to like 130% instead of 100%.

Is there any negatives other than an increase to GPU heat? My frames don't seem to take that much of a hit.
