I have a RCS-7440 with 2 display port outputs and a dvi-d and a vga port.
My tv is connected on the DVi-d port with a DVI-HDMI converter and it works fine
My main screen (touch panel) is on the vga port.

What i want is to move the touch panel to the dvi-d and the TV to Displayport.
I have 3 different cables (displayport to hdmi) and all of them are not working!

If i test them on my other system (GTX1070) the DP-HDMI cable is working with my tv.

I tested the DP ports of the RCS-7440 by connecting my Dell 2713hm with a DP-DP cable.
That works fine.

I just don't understand how it is possible that a working DP-HDMI cable is not working on a working DP port.

Any thoughts on how to get this working?!

Support for DVI/HDMI adapters is an optional feature of DisplayPort. Perhaps that system does not implement that capability.

Is that a hardware thing? Or a firmware/software thing.
Did not not know about that being optional.
It all seems so flexible but apparently it is not 🙁
