So i used to have 2 monitors. one hooked up by DP and one hooked up to HDMI.
The one on DP was for 140hz, but randomly it stopped working, i have used it for over a year with no issues, and one night i turn off my pc, wake up the next and it was getting no display, after a couple hours of troubleshooting i eventually figured out that its the displayport on the monitor itself.
I've tried multiple different cables, different GPUs and even tried plugging it into my motherboard and other monitors. The only thing that happens is with the other DP cables my computer will still detect the monitor but it doesn't show anything under advanced display settings and still no signal. Im still using that same monitor but now on HDMI and it works great no issues but i would like to get back to the 140hz. any one ever had anything like this happen? is it an easy fix to repair the DP port on the monitor or is it just better to get a new one
Monitor : ASUS VG248
Specs: i7-8600k, MSI 3060, MSI Tomahawk Z370
