Question DP to HDMI for 120hz PS5?

My Monitor has a 1.4 DP port and a 1.2 HDMI port, so the HDMI unfortunately only supports 60hz which my PS5 is plugged into. I wanted to take advantage of the 1440p 120hz on ps5, but my monitor only supports 144hz through the display port. If I were to get a DP to HDMI cable, would this allow me to play my ps5 in 1440p 120hz?
