[SOLVED] DP to HDMI?

I have a problem with my displayport on my monitor having issues when my system is waking from monitors are off. would a DP to HDMI cord effect anything? i have had a DVI to hdmi but didnt have the rig i have now im mostly worried about latency

ill have displayport from my gpu to HDMI on my monitor instead of DP to DP on my monitor I have a second monitor using HDMI and its only HDMI thats why or else i would just use HDMI to HDMI on my monitor

im wondering about a DP to HDMI cord not an adaptor

DP and HDMI are both digital interfaces, therefore you won't lose anything using a DP to HDMI adapter.

Some DP to HDMI adapters max out at 1080p 60 Hz, so if your monitor is higher than that, make sure you check the adapter's capabilities carefully.

yeah thats what i was talking about in my OP im not wanting to use an adaptor i dont like how far it sticks out of my gpu but good to know that it doesnt affect the latency
