Hi guys, I have an rx570 which doesn't have analog outputs (my Samsung a s22b only has vga) so I'm buying a dp to vga converter, specifically the Rankie one (it says it's active even tho it doesn't have external power). Since I'm going to use it as a daily driver on my first and only monitor and I have just upgraded my GPU, I would prefer not to have any loss. I have some questions:
Will I lose in quality with this adapter?
Will I see post bios?
I've read that without gpu drivers installed I won't be able to see anything with the display port. I always uninstall drivers when I upgrade them, will I have problem with that?
Thanks.

Provided the adapter truly is active (to go from Digital to Analog) it'll behave exactly as if you were connected VGA-VGA.

You'll see POST, you won't 'lose' any quality (as far as comparing to straight VGA-VGA), and you'll see the same lower resolution connection without a GPU driver installed that you'd see in any other situation.

Okay, I can't see post bios and the quality is a bit lower. Since the monitor only turns on at the login screen of windows, what happens if i update windows? Will I see or will I not see anything untill the installation is completed?
