I was just wondering, but what is the difference between a HDMI cable, a DisplayPort cable and a DVI cable.
I think that the HDMI and DP are better than the DVI, but what should I use to hook my monitor up with a HDMI, DP or DVI?
Thx

Visually, all three should be identical as they are all digital signals. DisplayPort and HDMI both carry audio as well, so if your monitor has speakers that you use for audio, either of those ports would work. Otherwise, if you use separate speakers, you could use any of the three, but DVI natively does not carry audio.

VGA (analog) Eldest and may go obsolete, if card and monitor support it you could try, but most likely not as compatible with todays tech.
HDMI (digital) Widely used and more popular.
DVI (digital) Meant to replace the HDMI, but not as popular and very similar.
DP (digital) replaces VGA and DVI, backward compatible with all the above.

I would go with HDMI until it fazes out, This one seems cool
