Question dpc-watchdog-violation message

Hi, apologies in advance if this is in the wrong place. I was wondering if anyone could advise me please. I tried screen sharing my laptop (using HP Pavilion Laptop Windows 8.1) with my LG tv with no luck. It shows my tv in the devices but when i try to connect it, i get this message "dpc-watchdog-violation" and then my laptop just restarts. I tried looking online for answers and some people say it could be down to drivers needing to be updated? If this is the case, how would i go about doing that please? Many thanks in advance for any help/advice.

Funny...looking that up in a quick search says it most commonly an issue with SSD drivers.

That's odd, i don't have anything plugged in to my laptop and the issue/message only happens when trying to connect the tv (wirelessly) to the laptop.
