When I login without safe mode I my computer crashes almost instantly and I get the blue screen, after googling this it tells me to update my drivers which I have done however in most guides the update a SATA AHCI controller (which I do not have).

Drivers : http://prntscr.com/ijb9u2

I downloaded the AMD chipsets and got this result : http://prntscr.com/ijb7ng
https://support.amd.com/en-us/download/chipset?os=Windows+7+-+64

I tried using a M5A78L-M Plus / USB3 AMD 760G chipset support disc but got the errors 'Can't execute Kernel Mode Driver Service' and 'Can't load ASUSHWIO.DLL'

Please help, thank you.

Solution
that motherboard uses this sata controller

AMD SB710 controller :
6 x SATA 3Gb/s port(s), blue
Support Raid 0, 1, 10, JBOD

you should get the driver from the motherboard vendor if you can. Also, SATA drivers are tied to the bios version so make sure your bios is the most up to date that you can get, then maybe the default windows 10 sata drivers will work.

you might want to provide the actual mememory dumps from c:\windows\minidump directory

you might find that running old support disks for vista, windows 7 and windows 8 will not work anymore on windows 10. best hope is to install the latest bios and hope the generic windows 10 drivers work.

provide the memory dump or the date of the BIOS, the USB and SATA specs get changed over the years so knowing the bios date is useful to predict what will work with the generic windows 10 drivers
