have a dpc3010 modem that worked great until recently. Now it has started to reset and the only thing that seems to fix it is unplugging the ethernet to the router (netgear nighthawk ac1900)
The modem never gave many issues until I installed the netgear router.
Called cox and they asked if there was any splitters in the line, there is none
They claimed the channels were not bonding like they were supposed to, below is a recent ping from the modem (post reset)
Power Level: Signal to Noise Ratio:
Channel 1: -4.2 dBmV 39.0 dB
Channel 2: -4.1 dBmV 39.2 dB
Channel 3: -4.2 dBmV 38.8 dB
Channel 4: -4.1 dBmV 39.0 dB
Channel 5: -3.8 dBmV 37.5 dB
Channel 6: -3.6 dBmV 37.8 dB
Channel 7: -3.6 dBmV 37.6 dB
Channel 8: -3.9 dBmV 37.9 dB
Upstream Channels
Power Level:
Channel 1: 57.0 dBmV
Channel 2: 0.0 dBmV
Channel 3: 0.0 dBmV
Channel 4: 0.0 dBmV
Any suggestions, am looking into the sb6141 modem. My dpc3010 is approx. 2 years old
