Question Dragging images from Primary to Secondary monitor triggers error "COM Surrogate has stopped working" ?

Two monitors setup running on Win7 - When I open a jpeg or anything that opens in Windows Photo Viewer the image only opens on the primary monitor - when i drag the window to the second monitor the image freezes and an info window pops up saying "COM Surrogate has stopped working" - then Windows Photo Viewer shuts down ?
This only happens with Windows Photo Viewer - all other program windows can be dragged back and forth from one monitor to the other - any fixes for this ?

Reinstall Windows Photo Viewer.

You can also try running the built in Windows troubleshooters. The trouble shooters may find and fix something.

Also try "sfc /scannow" and "dism".

No luck with the other suggestions - How do you reinstall Windows Photo Viewer - apparently it is a .dll
