Dragging windows over other windows or offscreen leaving a trail?

Hey guys, just built my first pc and installed all my drivers. Everything seems to be working fine.

However I do keep running into this problem when I'm moving windows across my screen

I ran a windows update and there are no important updates available, and there are no yellow triangle alerts under hardware properties. How can I fix this?

CPU : i5-6500
MD : Asus h170 Pro Gaming
VC : Asus Strix r9 280

Use the MOUSE settings to turn OFF the trails.
Get rid of Asus components.

Use Gigabyte or Intel, recommended.
IF you would have installed non-asus components, you would not be having these problems. (bet you $1)

Both of your screen shots are indicative of video driver issues.

Did you install the video drivers from AMD or did you let Windows install its own basic drivers?

Thanks for the reply. Mouse trails have always been off. And for your Asus advice, I'll keep that in mind when I build my next pc... Lol

I used the cd/ dvd that came with the gpu.

Steps were, installed windows 7

Threw in motherboard driver dvd

threw in video card driver dvd.

ran windows updates to see if anything was out of date.

The drivers on those CD/DVD's are always out of date. Download the latest drivers directly from AMD.
