Dragon 3 Noise

I have an atalon 1.4@1.503 it was reading 170F, so I bought the dragon 3, it dropped the temp down to 102f idle/107f full load, no complaints there. The thing is this thing sounds like a jet plane-Is this normal? If so is there any way to quite it down without losing the cooling performance. Thanks

I didn't think you'd actually go for it. Basically you're going for any kind of foam, hard or soft (soft is better), the thicker the better, egg-crate or flat.
You can probably get something similar at a hardware store, or a sporting goods store (egg-crate mattresses for camping, in other words.

Thanks for the help, I'll give it a shot. My wife has been having a cow ever since I put that fan in, says she can hear it in most rooms in the house
