Draining out PSU question

hi all! im happy to say that i sucessfully assembled my first build pc and already installed window os. now i'm going to add in my gtx 970 gpu in my rig, do i need to drain out my PSU before adding? how do i drain the power out? thanks!

Just unplug the psu from the wall while installing the card and you will be fine. Make sure you discharge any static from yourself when handling components, simply touching exposed metal of the Base unit while plugged in should earth you, then unplug and open the case to work.

what? PSu is not a Rasselblower which you have to drain before applying costomization to your custom water cooling loop, just unplug your system from wall unit and assemble the GPu

No need, most modern power supplies have all safety features so just straight away assemble it
