Question Dram issue

MSI Z490 PLUS ATX Motherboard | LGA 1200 issue I have bought one 16GB DDR4 2133MHz PC4-17000R RDIMM and a SK Hynix Memory HMA82GR7CJR4N 16gb DDR4 2666 Desktop RAM and my PC won’t boot , the motherboard says dram issue but I thought this 2 memories would work or at least one . I’ve tried them individually on every slot and still same issue

MSI Z490 PLUS is regular desktop motherboard (not a server or workstation board).

You said you bought a "RDIMM". Which is registered RAM (also called buffered RAM). Both the sticks are RDIMMs. This type of RAM is generally only used on server class motherboards. Your motherboard doesn't support buffered RAM.

You should also use matching RAM sticks.
