Question DRAM QLed on, pc not posting

Recently just built my first PC, it worked fine for awhile and the day after that it won't turn on anymore and the DRAM QLed is on. I have reseated both ram sticks and tried turning it on with one and sometimes it works for awhile then it stops posting again. Any advice on whether I should RMA the board or update the bios?

CPU: Intel 12700K
Mobo: Asus ROG STRIX Z690-F Gaming Wifi
Ram: 2 sticks of CMT32GX5M2B5200C40 in A2 and B2

You should definitely update the bios for z690 boards for better RAM compatibility. I would also try raising the RAM voltage by .05v

should i just upgrade it to the latest version using bios flashback? as it is not booting at all now.

Alright, I have updated the bios and gotten the pc to boot with one ram installed. I ran memtest and it ran into 32 errors, what do all of these mean?

The RAM stick is most likely bad. You should reseat and if that doesn’t fix it, return the RAM
