DRAM red led, CPU red led, no post new pc

I'm pretty new to the computer building scene with only two under my belt, but this third one is making me upset.

Every time I try and boot it, I get two red led switching from DRAM to CPU.
I've tried many, if not every fix available, with no luck. I've reset the cmos many times, unseated and seated everything, and taken things out of the case, and more with no luck.

My specs are:

Gigabyte AB350 Gaming 3 Motherboard
Ryzen 3 2200g Processor
HyperX DDR4 2X4 2666mhz ram
Evga 500b psu
evga GeForce gtx 950 ssc gpu
Vega 8 integrated gpu

When started up, it doesn't post and has flashing led of dram and cpu. The dram is a long flash whereas the cpu is really short.

Any help?

Remove the CPU and check it and its socket thoroughly for any signs of damage (bent and broken pins and pads), and for any sign of dust, dirt or debris on or amongst the pins and pads. Re-seat CPU carefully and evenly.

Do you need to update the bios to support that cpu?

On the motherboard box, does it have a sticker that said ryzen 2000 ready?

Everything is new btw.

Cpu and sockets are clean, no damage.
I am unsure how to update bios, as it won't even open that.
Motherboard is compatible with ryzen 3 2200g.

I've got the motherboard disc and dvd drive but I can't make it open or run that.

Check that ALL wires/cables that need to be connected are connected properly, this includes CPU auxiliary power supply and video cables.

If still having problems, try another known working PSU (borrow PSU from friend, neighbor etc if necessary).

If still having problems, try some other known working and compatible memory modules (again, borrow memory from friend, neighbor etc if necessary).

If still having problems, try using CPU integrated graphics (remove video card first), and/or try another known working video card (again, borrow from friend, neighbor etc if necessary).

If still having problems, try using another compatible CPU (again, borrow CPU from friend, neighbor etc if necessary).

If still having problems, then the motherboard may be faulty.
