There is a option in bios of dram timing mode : its values are link, unlink, auto.

I am using different sticks of ram. Corsair vengeance lpx 8gb 3200mhz ddr4 ram and adata xpg gammix d30 8gb 3200mhz ddr4 ram. Both have same latency at xmp that is cl 16.. After enabling xmp in bios, both run at cl 16 at dual channel.. Here dram timing is set to link in bios.

What if I change it to auto, will it mess with the timings or otherwise ?
Will auto mode give me some extra performance ?

Can you show screenshots from CPU-Z -
memory section and
spd section ( one screenshot per module).

You'd have to test and see.
It can mess things up or give some barely perceivable improvement.

But first check motherboard user manual, to see, what link option does.

You already have best profile, that's what XMP is for, automatic overclock. Set to link in BIOS, of course, BIOS is what controls RAM setings, Automatic will most probably set it to 2133 or 2400MHz whatever is default JEDEC. so it will be worse not better.
