Hi all,
Here are my specs for the new gaming PC I am attempting to build
CPU: i7 3770 3rd Gen IB processor
Motherboard: P8P67 EVO B3 Revision
Memory: G-SKILL RIPJAWS X F3-12800CL8D-8GBXM (2x4GB)
Graphics Card: Gainward Geforce GTX 560Ti 1024MB
PSU: Corsair HX750 Modular powersupply
Shinobi Bitfenix Side Window Case
Harddrive: Seagate 1Tb Barracuda 7200rpm
SSD: Corsair Force Series 3 60Gb
The problem... The mobo user manual says that any errors found will cause the "LED next to the error device will continue lighting until the problem is solved". This is what happened to the DRAM_LED. As a result of this, my computer did not boot and I did not receive a signal to my monitor.
So... I removed one ram stick and tried single RAM sticks as advised in my other forum post http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/318231-30-motherboard-failed-test
This also did not solve a problem, trying both combinations with different RAM sticks, single and double channel.
Next step... Clear CMOS? I did this, removing the battery as instructed per this video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdHH9KrceR0
Still... DRAM_LED still lighting and no signal to monitor...
I need some help guys please Hopefully someone can shed some insight so I can get this thing up and running.
Eagerly awaiting some assistance as to where to go now...
Regards,
Simon
