[SOLVED] Draw manageable 12v from motherboard

is there any way to ouput 12v from motherboard ?
and i would like to make it manageable,
i am using gigabyte z170x gaming 3 with TT 530w psu

Strongest 12v output is from W_PUMP header if MB has one, typically about 2A, fan headers about 1A a piece.

So you are limited to 1A from a case fan header.

There are all sorts of LED/RGB lighting solutions for inside the case.
Prebuilt, addressable within the OS.

Are you trying to adapt some other thing?

If it was connected to PSU directly by Molex or SATA plug, it will shut down with the rest of computer. PSU keeps 5v power on only one wire in 24 pin connector, everything else is shut down.
