Question drawing tablet adaption issue

i plan to upgrade my pc, but there is a snag involving my drawing tablet (a ugee 1910b).
currently it uses a VGA adapted to a dvi-i port.
the graphics card i currently plan to upgrade to only has HDMI and a dvi-d port.

will it be possible to use a dvi-d - dvi-d cord between the drawing tablets dvi-i and the new cards dvi-d ports?

i really don't want to try converting a whole mess of wires to get VGA to Hdmi/ DVI-D.

The webpage for that device shows it having a VGA and DVI input port. You should be able to use a DVI-D cable based on the picture of the input port.
