So not sure if anyone has run across this before, but I haven't been able to find anything on it:
I tried to change the letter of an external (WD) hard drive, but Disk Management lagged and the computer froze, so restarted.
When it booted back up and the external drive was plugged in, it began to make a weird noise (like 12 hums and a buzz, 5 times total), then appears to spin normally, albeit with a flashing light.
And the drive isn't found in Disk Management or Device Manager (or able to be found by recovery software like EaseUS or TestDisk).
Anyone come across anything like this before, and/or have any ideas what's going on with the drive?
Can certainly post audio file if able!
