Drive letter issue

So I recently got an SSD (crucial mx500 500gb) and installed it in my Dell Inspiron 5675 desktop along side my 1tb HDD. I then attempted to change the boot drive to the SSD and so I tried to change the drive letters so windows booted on my ssd instead of my hdd. I think I some how messed up a step in the registry and now when I boot up my PC it goes to a black screen and I can only move my cursor around. The cursor has a flickering loading circle too. How do I fix this?

You can't just change the drive letters around like that.
And if you did something in the Registry, it was almost certainly wrong.

Did you actually install the OS on the SSD?
Which OS is this?

@USAFRet Sorry I don't know how to properly reply, but my ssd is a SATA III Crucial MX500 500gb SSD. Just curious, is there any way I can get it to boot windows without a disc or flash drive?

No, you'll need a DVD or USB flash drive of 8GB or larger.

@USAFRet , I used this article https://www.groovypost.com/howto/fix-windows-10-wont-boot-startup-repair-bootrec/

EVERYONE VIEWING THIS THREAD:
Please try this before doing a clean installation on a DVD or USB drive.

A master boot record issue, sure,

But coming from your initial statement of: "I think I some how messed up a step in the registry"...
Messing up the Reg bad enough to prevent booting is rarely fixable.
