drive names after installation?

Silly and simple question:
I recently installed a new internal hard drive by myself. I had never done this before, and hopefully I did everything correctly. After install, I can see the drive in my computer but it has a different name from the rest of the existing drives.
The existing drives are labelled as Local Disk (C: ), Local Disk (D: ), Local Disk (E: ). I didn't install them.
But the new drive I installed is labelled New Volume (F: ).
Was this by default?
Should I be concerned?

I am paranoid as I am about to move all the important into this new drive...

Solution
you can right click the names of the drive and rename them as you wish.

when the drive is formatted it will be given a name, usually something really generic like Local Disk or New Volume as a for instance. the three local disks were in the pc when windows was installed, I assume, and the new volume was installed by you and probably formatted by you too. that is why the labels are different.
